Fluoride-Free Toothpaste

There are things in life that we do out of habit. Why change something that seems to work, right? Can seemingly harmless things that we do out of routine be harmful to our health?

For example, fluoride is a poisonous chemical that fracking companies pump into the ground to make their product go farther and last longer.

It has been proven time and again that fluoride itself isn’t good for you. Yet, we put fluoride in our water supplies and toothpaste because we’ve been told for years that it’s good for our teeth.

I used to buy fluoride-based toothpaste because I never really questioned it. I started to do some research into fluoride-free toothpaste and found that there are many benefits to making the switch.

For starters, fluoride-free toothpaste has no fluoride (LOL).

Ayurvedic toothpaste uses ingredients found in nature to help cleanse and protect. I switched over to fluoride-free Ayurvedic toothpaste and haven’t looked back.

Why Switch To A Fluoride-Free Toothpaste?

1) Fluoride-based Toothpaste Is Poisonous

First and foremost, fluoride-based toothpaste is poisonous to humans. Do you know those warnings on the tube that say “keep out of reach of children”? That’s because fluoride is toxic.

Every year, more and more fluoride poisonings happen across the world. If fluoride were safe, why would we need to warn kids about it?

2) Fluoride Is A By-Product Of The Aluminium Industry

Another reason fluoride-based toothpaste isn’t good for you is that fluoride is a by-product of the aluminium industry.

Aluminium fluoride is used to make cryolite (a pesticide). Fluoride and cryolite both cause neurological damage, which is why fluoride poisoning can lead to developmental issues in young children.

3) Fluoride Is A Carcinogen

According to scientific research, fluoride is a carcinogen. That means it causes cancer.

4) Fluoride Damages Your Teeth

Fluoride-based toothpaste can actually damage your teeth. It’s not as effective at fighting cavities as we’ve been told, and it can even cause fluorosis (a condition that discolours your teeth). fluoride-based toothpaste actually damages the enamel on your teeth. Fluoride seeps into the porous enamel of your teeth and corrodes it over time. It makes them more sensitive to heat, cold and acids.

5) Fluoride Has No Benefit On Your Teeth

Fluoride-based toothpaste has no proven benefit on your teeth. It doesn’t fight cavities any better than fluoride-free toothpaste.

6) Fluoride Damages The Organs, Bones And More

According to scientific research fluoride damages the organs, bones, thyroid gland. It has also been linked to depression, fatigue, weight gain, Alzheimer’s, gastrointestinal issues and more.

When you put all of this information together, it’s clear that fluoride-based toothpaste is bad for you. It’s time to switch to fluoride-free toothpaste!

Ayurvedic Toothpaste As A Natural Alternative

Ayurveda is a 5000-year-old system of medicine that originated in India. Ayurvedic toothpaste is based on herbal ingredients that have been used for centuries to cleanse and protect the teeth and gums. It’s a natural toothpaste that is beneficial for those who suffer from dental sensitivity or want to try a more natural approach to dental hygiene.

One of the main ingredients in ayurvedic toothpaste is neem, which has been found to have disinfectant properties that help to prevent bad bacterias from forming in your mouth. Ayurvedic toothpaste also contains clove, which is a natural antiseptic and analgesic.

Natural fluoride-free toothpaste is gentle on your mouth and teeth. It can be found here on this website.

The Fluoride Controversy: A Surprising Story

Fluoride is added to water and toothpaste to “help prevent cavities”. It can also be found in food. Some people, like myself, believe that fluoride is harmful and should not be ingested.

Research has shown fluoride may be linked to a variety of health problems including dental fluorosis, bone loss, tooth decay and other side effects I mentioned earlier.

The fluoride controversy has been ongoing for decades and will likely continue for years to come.

You might have heard both sides of the story and be wondering what to believe. I encourage you to do your own research on fluoride and make an informed decision for yourself.

At the end of the day, it’s up to you whether or not you want to use fluoride-based toothpaste. I personally don’t and have been using fluoride-free toothpaste for years with great results. I encourage you to give it a try!

What is Dental Fluorosis, and what causes it?

Dental fluorosis is a fluoride-induced condition of the permanent teeth that causes dark spots as well as other changes in the appearance of teeth.

In some cases, fluoride-induced fluoride can cause severe dental fluorosis which is characterized by spotted teeth and unsightly brown stains on the surfaces of the molars.

Dental fluorosis is the most common fluoride-induced condition and it occurs when fluoride levels in water or toothpaste are too high.

Fluoride-free toothpaste has been shown to be a great preventative measure against dental fluorosis.

Do fluoride-free toothpaste Really Work?

Yes, they do! Ayurvedic fluoride-free toothpaste helps to prevent bad bacterias, heal your gums, brighten your smile, whiten teeth and freshen your breath.

It’s a great alternative for those who are looking for a more natural approach to dental hygiene. With ayurvedic fluoride-free toothpaste, you can avoid fluoride while having cleaner teeth, fresher breath and healthier gums.

Be careful, some non-ayurvedic fluoride-free toothpaste contain sodium Laureth sulfate which has been shown to cause irritation in some people.

Conclusion

If you’re looking for fluoride-free toothpaste, then an excellent alternative is Ayurvedic Toothpaste. Natural fluoride-free toothpaste that is gentle on your mouth and teeth can be found here on this website.

Personally, I choose Patanjali Dant Kanti Toothpaste and won’t go back to fluoride toothpaste!

It is fluoride-free (obviously!), and has a herbal formula that cleans the teeth, brightens up your smile, prevents bad breath and strengthens your gums.

Best of all, it tastes great! ๐Ÿ™‚
