Darjeeling Silver Tips is a very rare white tea from the Makaibari Estate in Darjeeling, India. Hand-picked during the early spring, Silver Tips white tea is made only from young leaf buds. Darjeeling Silver White Tips are delicate new buds plucked before they open. They are withered to allow the natural moisture to evaporate and then are gently dried. The curled up buds have a silvery/white appearance and give a pale, straw colored liquor. It has a nice subtle flavour and aroma. Its health benefits are similar to green tea.
