Swami Ramdev Divya Peya herbal tea has become a preferred drink for many people. herbal tea contains many medicinal and nutritional herbs, which help to fight against attacks on the human body. The herbal tea has no side effects. It also helps to improve the resistance power of our body.

As the winter season arrives, people increase the amount of tea consumption to keep their bodies warm. Therefore, according to the advice of Ayurvedic practitioners, we should take herbal teas. Herbal tea contains a wide range of herbs, which help cure colds, stomach-related and psycho-related problems.

The herbs are Soma-lata, Brahmi, Citraka, Rohisha (Agiya Ghas), Marica (black pepper), Chandana, rose flower, Shweta Candana, Sunthi (dry ginger), Pippali (long pepper), Tyak or Dalchini (cinnamon) , Punarnava, Bhumyamalaki, Tej Patta (bay leaf), Jati Phala, Lavanga (clove), Banaphsha flower (wild violet), Tulasi (basil leaf), Ela (Cardamom), Jati Patri, Arjuna, Ashwagandha, Mishreya (Saunf), Vasa, Shankha Puspi, Musta, lotus flower, Cavya, Amrita, etc.

The herbal tea contains Ashwagandha which helps prevent diseases like nervous disorders, intestinal infections and leprosy. It also helps increase resistance to stress and build physical stamina. Arjuna herb helps to catch bleeding. It also helps with fever, asthma, acne, diarrhea, and earache, and also prevents stones from forming in the urinary system, promotes bile flow, and heals wounds. Brahmi herb is very useful in helping with epilepsy, senility, hair loss, premature graying and nervous disorders. It controls the pitta of our body.

It improves the quality of sleep and relieves mental weaknesses. Shankha Pushpi herb is helpful in curing sleep disturbances by reducing anxiety and stress. It also improves brain power. It is very useful for the nervous system and improves the potency of the bone marrow. The herbaceous rose flower is rich in vitamin C and it is good for our heart and refreshes our mind and soul. Purple herb helps relieve conditions of pain, nausea, and inflammation.

It also controls lung problems. Vasa herb is very beneficial for our body because it has antispasmodic properties. It is a stimulant and helps prevent respiratory problems. Pippali herb (long pepper) is very useful for treating bronchial asthma, hemoglobin loss, indigestion, liver inflammation, chronic malaria, hemorrhoids, night blindness, worms, pain joints and insomnia. It prevents loss of appetite and relieves gas from the intestines.

Sunth herb (dry ginger) is used for the treatment of gas in the intestines, bronchial asthma, inflammation, nausea, and dyspepsia. It prevents vomiting. It has antihistamine, peripheral vasodilator, stimulant, antispasmodic, antivertigo, carminative, antirheumatic, preservative and antiemetic properties. It helps in the formation of the intestine. It is the best against all cold related problems like cough, flu, etc. It helps kill intestinal worms, increase bile secretion, lower cholesterol and blood sugar levels, increase salivary secretion, and induce sweating.

The herb cinnamon helps lower blood sugar and cholesterol levels, cough, indigestion, dyspepsia, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, and bowel pain. It increases peripheral blood flow and appetite. Cardamom herb is very helpful in treating indigestion, vomiting, upset stomach, lung disease, nausea, gas, and gripping. Clove grass prevents cancer by controlling cell damage. It is very useful for treating indigestion, diarrhea, gas, ringworm, hernia, vomiting, ulcers of athlete’s foot and stomach. Black pepper grass is a conditioning agent and adds good flavor to herbal tea.

It also helps cure bloating and gas, acidity, indigestion, burping, cold-triggered fever and toothache. It also improves appetite. Bay leaf herb (Tej-patta) contains high amounts of vitamin A and C, iron and manganese, and smaller amounts of calcium, magnesium, and potassium. Bay leaves are useful for treating stomach, liver, and kidney problems. It is much useful for curing fever, releasing gas from the intestine and stomach, lowering blood pressure level, relieving spam and inflammation, preventing infections, reducing anxiety and stress, increasing discharge of urine and improving memory. The herb basil leaf (Tulsi) is a virtue for patients who often suffer from cold-related problems. Apart from that, it also helps with vomiting, anxiety, constipation, indigestion, headache, and stomach cramps. It has the sedative property, which means that when we take basil leaves in the form of tea, we feel relaxed during the stressful days. Saunf herb relaxes the intestines and reduces bloating. It also prevents digestive disorders, hypertension and cold-related illnesses.

Another herb named Citraka is very useful for our body. There are two types of Citraka – swet (white) and rakta (red). Sweet citraka is an aperitif, antibacterial and anticancer herb. Likewise, rakta citraka helps in the treatment of dyspepsia, inflammation, cough, and colic. Besides the herbs mentioned above, there are many other herbs, which play an important role in keeping our body healthy and free from disease. There is no doubt that herbal tea is purely chemical free and has a high nutritional value compared to the various tea products available in the market. It’s very easy to prepare. It is prepared like normal tea, but if it is boiled a little longer, the nutritional value of the tea increases and the herbs become more effective.
